INTERNATIONAL FINANCE & BANKING SUMMIT 2026: GLOBAL FINANCE. INTEGRATION
On June 9–10, 2026, Baku will host the International Finance & Banking Summit — a large-scale two-day conference dedicated to one of the most pressing issues of our time: integrating regional financial systems into the global economy. The event will take place at Baku Marriott Hotel Boulevard and is supported by the Central Bank of the Republic of Azerbaijan in collaboration with international partners.
The summit is designed as an influential platform for shaping strategic solutions in a rapidly evolving financial landscape. Its agenda directly reflects the key global trends of 2026, including the digitalization of banking, fintech development, enhanced cybersecurity, and the transition to sustainable financial models. Special emphasis will be placed on regional cooperation — from regulatory harmonization and payment system integration to strengthening correspondent banking relationships.
The forum will bring together over 1,500 participants from across the globe, including banking and financial institution executives, regulators, fintech companies, investors, international experts, and development institutions. Around 270 companies and 50 speakers are expected to contribute with practical case studies and in-depth analytical insights. Across nine thematic panels, participants will explore the most pressing challenges and emerging opportunities in the industry.
Key topics will cover a broad spectrum of issues: from payment and settlement systems to open banking ecosystems and APIs, from digital transformation to the application of artificial intelligence in finance. The agenda will also highlight alternative banking models, including Islamic finance, as well as sustainable and green finance as a foundation for long-term growth. Dedicated sessions will address compliance, anti-money laundering, cybersecurity threats, and financial crime prevention.
